Step 1: Site Inspection & Measurement

Before any work begins, our team visits your home to: - Measure every room precisely (laser measurement for accuracy) - Check subfloor conditions (level, moisture, cracks) - Identify potential issues (door clearance, transitions, thresholds) - Help you choose colors and textures with physical samples

This visit is completely free and takes about 30-45 minutes.

Step 2: Preparation Day

On installation day, we start with preparation: - Move light furniture to a safe area - Remove existing floor transitions and skirting (if needed) - Clean the subfloor thoroughly — dust and debris affect adhesion - Level any uneven areas (self-leveling compound if needed) - Lay moisture barrier / underlayment

Step 3: Installation

SPC uses a click-lock system — no glue or nails needed: 1. Start from the longest wall, working toward the door 2. First row is critical — must be perfectly straight 3. Each plank clicks into the previous one at an angle 4. Use spacers along walls (8-10mm expansion gap) 5. Cut pieces as needed for end pieces and around obstacles 6. Stagger joints for natural appearance (minimum 30cm offset)

Step 4: Finishing Touches

• Install new skirting boards to cover expansion gaps
• Add transition strips at doorways and floor-type changes
• Trim door frames if needed for clearance
